Paul Slamar

RSG Underwriting Managers
Paul Slamar joined Ryan Specialty Group in 2010 and is based in Chicago, IL. He has over 30 years of experience in the insurance business. Paul is responsible for managing RSG's insurance operations, including insurance brokerage regulation and coordination of RSG's domestic and London market and producer relationships from an operations perspective.

Prior to joining RSG, Paul worked at Aon Corporation for 30 years, nearly all of which were with Aon Services Group (ASG), Aon's alternative distribution operation. This included Aon's underwriting management and wholesale brokerage units, and he was responsible for coordinating the legal affairs, brokerage regulation, and corporate communications for all of ASG's operations.
As a member of ASG's senior management team, Paul was involved in various acquisition transactions in these segments. He worked closely with all of ASG's business leaders on numerous commercial and legal-related matters. The relationships developed with the senior business and underwriting leaders enabled Paul to develop extensive experience in specialized policy and endorsement wording matters.
